David Ernest Bache (born 14 June 1925 – died 26 November 1994) was a British car designer.

Throughout his career he mainly worked for Rover. However, he also worked for the Austin Motor company.

His works encompass the Austin A30, Rover P5, Land Rover Series II, Rover P6, the 1964 Rover-BRM gas turbine car (with William Towns), the Rover SD1 and the Austin Maestro.
