Harley J. Earl (November 22, 1893–April 10, 1969) was a pioneer for automobile design.
He was the first Vice President of Design at General Motors and with his Buick Y-Job introduced the worlds first "concept car" as means to develop the design as well as the marketing of vehicles. Another remarkable car bearing his signature, is the Chevrolet Corvette.
