In Japan, a Porsche 962 Drives on the Streets.
Imagine driving a Group C Porsche 962 on public roads. The car in question is a Vern Schuppan 962 of which six were made. The Australian company created carbon fiber tubs and carbon-kevlar bodies then swapped the 962 components on.
The Japanese owner recently finished restoring the car and has registered it to drive on public roads. The only problem is that isn't really doable. On a recent test drive, it boiled all of its water in just a few minutes while driving through a town. However, its fine on the highway. The guys over at Speedhunters just profiled the car and took a look at its restoration a few years ago.
