Project Cars is a new racing simulation video game coming to the PC, Playstation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in the fall of 2013. The team behind it are the same that made Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2 in the last few years. The game is meant to simulate being a professional driver. Players will move through Rally, Touring Cars, Open-Wheel, GT, Le Mans and more as they progress through the game. It will also allow players to create their own racing events for multiplayer.
It appears that the team behind the game are trying to make a game for sim-minded racing fans.
Significant parts of the game are also being crowd funded. PC gamers can go to the developers website and donate money to be able to play monthly or weekly builds of the game. These are not demos but the actual development builds the makers are creating. You can even get an opponent named after you in the game.
